Everyone knows that soda ash is irritating and corrosive. Direct contact can cause skin and eye burns. Inhalation of dust and smoke during production can cause respiratory irritation and conjunctivitis. It can also have nasal mucosal ulcer, atrophy and perforation of nasal septum. This product solution can cause eczema, dermatitis, corns-like ulcers and sagging skin. The incidence of respiratory diseases in workers exposed to this product is high. Mistakes can cause digestive tract burns, mucous membrane erosion, bleeding and shock.
Some measures that have been exposed to soda ash:
1. Skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing, rinse with plenty of running water for at least 15 minutes, and seek medical attention.
2. Eye contact: Immediately lift the eyelids and rinse thoroughly with plenty of running water or saline for at least 15 minutes.
3. Inhalation: Remove from the scene to fresh air, such as breathing difficulties, give oxygen, seek medical attention.
4. Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water, drink milk or egg white, and seek medical attention.
